1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Furqanwear.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Furqan app, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Disclaimer: AI & Religious Guidance

Furqan is a spiritual companion — not a religious authority.

FURQAN AI:
The AI features within Furqan provide information based on Islamic texts and general spiritual principles. These responses are generated by artificial intelligence, not human scholars. AI systems can make mistakes, hallucinate facts, or lack context. Responses should not be treated as formal fatwas or religious rulings.

Consult Scholars:
For Fiqh/Jurisprudence matters, personal rulings, or important life decisions, you must consult a qualified local scholar or Imam.

Prayer Times:
All prayer times are calculated mathematically and may vary based on calculation methods (e.g., ISNA, MWL). We recommend verifying with your local mosque or visual observation when possible.

3. User Accounts & Conduct

Eligibility:
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

Anonymous Use:
You may use Furqan without an account, or sign in with Google to sync data.

Prohibited Use:
You agree not to:
Generate illegal, hateful, or harmful content
Harass others or misuse the chat features
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or tamper with the App or its API

4. Intellectual Property

All content within the Furqan app — including code, design, features, “Spiritual Garden” visuals, and branding — is owned by Furqanwear and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Furqanwear shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including:
Data loss
Missed prayers or incorrect timings
Reliance on AI responses generated by the App or our third-party providers

We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect accuracy.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in Canadian courts.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
